Aplicaciones
El 1,2-bis(trietoxisilil)etano se utiliza para agentes auxiliares para recubrimientos, agentes auxiliares para el cuero, agentes auxiliares plásticos, tensioactivos y agentes auxiliares textiles. Se utiliza para preparar materiales organosílicos mesoporosos.

Solubilidad
Soluble en alcohol, hidrocarburos aromáticos y alifáticos. Hidroliza con agua.

Notas
Incompatible con agentes oxidantes. Almacenar en condiciones frescas y secas en un recipiente bien sellado. Almacenar a temperatura ambiente.
