LInspector Measurement and Control System for Electrode Calendering builds on our long and distinguished heritage in gauging technology. Specifically designed for electrode thickness measurement during calendering, it incorporates the latest dual confocal laser technology to deliver unprecedented accuracy, repeatability, and dimensional resolution. The sensor is integrated within a rigid, robust self-calibrating scanner frame that offers high acquisition speeds, excellent thermal stability, and conformance to clean room specifications. Analytic and reporting capabilities extend to roll, shift or production reports, 3D profile displays, zoom displays and SPC/QC control charts. Together these capabilities provide manufacturers with the information needed to optimize calendering lines and consistently maintain in-spec production, to simultaneously improve yield and battery performance.
