The PureLink™ 384 Plasmid Purification Plate is designed for ultra high-throughput DNA isolation. By utilizing the same technology as the PureLink™ 96 Plasmid Purification System, the PureLink™ 384 Plasmid Purification Plate reduces time and effort while reliably isolating high quality plasmid DNA for DNA sequencing, PCR, and restriction digests.
• PureLink™ 96: Sample size 1.3 ml culture; Typically yields up to 3-5 μg • PureLink™ 384: Sample size 200 μl culture; Typically yields up to 2-3 μg • Purify 96 or 384 plasmid DNA samples simultaneously • Unique centrifugation method eliminates cross-contamination
The PureLink™ 96 Plasmid Purification System is designed for high-throughput isolation of high copy number plasmids. Following the PureLink™ 96 Plasmid Purification Systems protocol, up to 96 plasmid DNA samples can be simultaneously purified. The novel technology eliminates time-consuming cell harvesting and alkaline lysis steps (Figure 1), saving time and effort. The unique centrifugation-based format of the PureLink™ 96 Plasmid Purification System eliminates problematic cross-contamination between wells, a critical problem in PCR and microarray analysis. The isolated plasmid DNA is ideal for use in automated sequencing reactions, offering superior read lengths and data quality. Samples may be processed 96 at a time or in smaller increments. The PureLink™ 96 Plasmid Purification System is compatible with a variety of centrifuges, robots, pipetting devices, automated sequencers, and sequencing chemistries.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Can I use a low-copy number plasmid for the PureLink 96/384 plasmid purification system?
No. This product is not recommended for use with low-copy number plasmids when the plasmid DNA is for use in automated fluorescent DNA sequencing. Low-copy number plasmids can be used with this system when the samples are for use in PCR amplification. However, keep in mind that the yields from a low-copy plasmid may not be readily visible on a gel.
Can I use DNA purified using the PureLink 96/384 Plasmid Purification System in transfection protocols?
No. While the DNA is ideal for automated fluorescent sequencing, PCR, and restriction enzyme digestion, it is not compatible for eukaryotic transfection.
