ReadyProbes In Situ Hybridization (ISH) Blocking Solution minimizes non-specific background staining in chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH) or fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) procedures. It is provided as a 5X solution that is diluted to 1X with distilled or deionized water. After the labeled DNA or RNA probe hybridization and wash steps, the sample is incubated with 1X Ready Probes ISH Blocking Solution for 30–60 minutes. 1X ReadyProbes ISH Blocking Solution can also be used as diluent for antibodies, avidin, streptavidin, or biotin during incubation steps.
