What quality tests are performed for KingFisher 96 Deep-Well plates?

Any KingFisher 96 Deep-Well plate indicated as being sterile is purity certified for DNA, RNase, DNase, PCR inhibition, and endotoxins. The non-sterile KingFisher deep-well plates are not tested for nucleic acid adsorption, but they are made from a polypropylene resin that is considered to be "low" binding for biomolecules.

Are the MagMAX Express and KingFisher plates the same?

Yes, the MagMAX Express and KingFisher plates are equivalent. We recommend the KingFisher plates as an alternative to the discontinued MagMAX Express plates.

How fast can I spin the KingFisher 96 deep-well plate (MagMAX Deep Well plate) (Cat. No. 95040450)?

We have not tested the maximum centrifugation speed for the KingFisher 96 deep-well plates, so you will need to test this on your own. As a starting range, the recommended speed for similar plates is 2,000-5,000 x g, with the highest recommended speed being 5,000 x g.
