Features and benefits
Dichroic mirrors are specialized optical components that are used to reflect and direct light to ensure that emitted light from a sample is detected by the detectors. These mirrors come in in two main types: long pass and short pass.
Emission filters are designed to selectively permit the passage of specific wavelengths of light emitted by a fluorescent sample, while blocking other wavelengths, especially the excitation light.
Unable to find the optical filter that you need? The Attune NxT Custom Filter Holder Kit allows you to make custom emission or dichroic filters in order to customize the optical configuration of the instrument. Each kit contains sufficient parts to make two emission filters and two dichroic filters. The kit includes instructions for attaching the filter to the filter blade but does not include the glass filter.
