Thermo Scientific Slide-A-Lyzer G3 Dialysis Cassettes facilitate the rapid and trouble-free dialysis of sample volumes from 1 to 125 mL.They are single-use dialysis devices designed to maximize performance and practicality. They provide an easy-to-use and secure alternative to traditional dialysis tubing and are used in a wide range of applications, including low molecular-weight contaminant and salt removal, buffer exchange, and sample concentration.

Unlike standard flat tubing, these innovative devices do not require knots or clips that can lead to leaking and sample loss. The cassette membranes are composed of low-binding regenerated cellulose for maximum sample purity and recovery. The membrane and cassette materials are compatible with most common laboratory chemicals and buffers.

The G3 cassettes are ergonomically designed to be significantly lighter and more compact than previous generations, making them easier to handle, more practical to use, and greener for the environment. This design features a new cap for effortless sample loading and retrieval, providing visual and haptic feedback upon opening and closing to help assure sample transfer and security. Sample loading and removal is easily accomplished using a serological pipette and removal of the cap or a hypodermic needle attached to a syringe and piercing of the resealable cap. All G3 cassettes offer a built-in air chamber that provides buoyancy and vertical orientation during the dialysis process.

Slide-A-Lyzer G3 Dialysis Cassettes are available for five different sample volumes ranging from 1 to 125 mL with molecular weight cut offs (MWCOs) of 2K, 3.5K, 10K, and 20K. Slide-A-Lyzer G3 Cassettes with the 10K MWCO are also offered in electron beam-treated format for applications such as cell culture, virus purification, or sample preparation for applications requiring conditions that minimize the risk of sample contamination.
