The Applied Biosystems™ TaqMan™ Human Phosphodiesterase Array is an efficient, easy-to-use micro fluidic card for quantitative gene expression analysis of inflammation genes important in drug discovery. This product is designed with 48 TaqMan™ Gene Expression Assays arrayed in 384 wells and is compatible with an upgraded Applied Biosystems 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System and sold in packs of 4. The array contains 43 human assays and five human controls. Orthologous genes to the human panel are in the Rat Phosphodiesterase Panel with two exceptions: Pde6g and Gdpd4 are missing and two added controls (Arbp and Ywhaz) are in the rat panel.
The array is pre-formatted and inventoried, cost-effective, convenient and easy to use without needing expensive robotics. Results are reproducible and consistent across samples, studies, and labs —the same data quality from card-to-card and lot-to-lot — even with different operators.
