CaptureSelect™ Biotin Anti-VSVG Conjugate

CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-VSVG Conjugate consists of a 13-kDa recombinant single domain antibody fragment (V_HH affinity ligand) that binds with high affinity and selectivity to the ectodomain of VSVG (glycoprotein (G) of vesicular stomatitis virus).

The affinity ligand is chemically conjugated to biotin via an appropriate spacer that retains the binding reactivity of the ligand when used in combination with streptavidin-based conjugates or streptavidin pre-coated surfaces. This conjugate enables detection and quantitation of free VSVG protein, membrane bound VSVG as displayed on vesicular stomatitis virus, and VSVG pseudo-typed viruses and extracellular vesicles (EVs).

Applications for CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-VSVG Conjugate include ELISA, Gyrolab™-based immunoassays, immunoprecipitation with streptavidin-coupled Dynabeads, and label-free detection platforms such as those based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and bio-layer interferometry (BLI).

To set up a sensitive sandwich ELISA for quantitation of free VSVG protein and VSVG-bearing particles, we recommend the use of CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-VSVG Conjugate in combination with CaptureSelect HRP Anti-VSVG Conjugate (Cat. No. 7304072100) as detection reagent .
