8-Methoxypsoralen, is used in Photochemotherapy (methoxsalen with long wave ultraviolet radiation) is indicated for the repigmentation of idiopathic vitiligo. It is also used in Photopheresis (methoxsalen with long wave ultraviolet radiation of white blood cells) is indicated for use with the UVAR* System in the palliative treatment of the skin manifestations of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.

8-Methoxypsoralen, is used in Photochemotherapy (methoxsalen with long wave ultraviolet radiation) is indicated for the repigmentation of idiopathic vitiligo. Solubility
Soluble in acetone, ethanol (slight), acetic acid, and chloroform (50 mg/ml). Insoluble in water.
Notes
Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Light sensitive. Stable under recommended storage conditions. Keep away from strong oxidizing agents.
