The TaqPath Menu I GeneProof Bordetella pertussis/parapertussis PCR Kit is used for the qualitative detection of Bordetella pertussis and Bordetella parapertussis through real-time PCR technology. The kit detects and distinguishes Bordetella pertussis and Bordetella parapertussis in a single reaction tube. The kit is validated for use with aspirate, sputum, and swab specimens.

• Easy to use—single master mix tube containing all components required for PCR amplification
