Columbia Chocolate Agar facilitates isolation and cultivation of fastidious organisms while MacConkey Agar with Salt is a differential medium for the detection and isolation of pathogens. MacConkey Agar with Salt also provides a number of diagnostic differentiators such as bile tolerance, colony morphology, and chromogenesis.
