Enable easy and accurate RNA quantitation with the Quant-iT RNA Assay Kit, which is also available in broad range (BR) and extended range (XR) configurations, as well as a stand-alone high sensitivity (HS) reagent. These Quant-iT RNA quantification kits are highly selective for RNA over dsDNA and can be used to generate fluorescence-based linear detection ranges of RNA.
Quant-iT RNA Reagent and Assay Kit
The Quant-iT RNA Reagent and Assay Kit makes RNA quantification easy and accurate. The kit provides concentrated assay reagent, dilution buffer, and pre-diluted RNA standards. The assay is highly selective for RNA over double-stranded DNA, and provides a dynamic range of 5-100 ng of RNA.

Quant-iT RNA BR (Broad Range) Assay Kit
The Quant-iT RNA BR (Broad Range) Assay Kit provides an accurate and selective method for quantification of high-abundance RNA samples. While the original Quant-iT RNA kit has great sensitivity, the Quant-iT RNA Broad Range kit is ideal for microarray samples where the concentration of RNA is higher. The assay is highly selective for RNA over double-stranded DNA, and provides a dynamic range of 20-1000 ng of RNA.

Quant-iT RNA XR (Extended Range) Assay Kit
The Quant-iT RNA XR (Extended Range) Assay Kit provides an accurate and selective method for the quantification of high-abundance RNA samples. The assay is highly selective for RNA and does not quantitate DNA, protein, or free nucleotides. The assay kit is designed to be accurate for initial RNA sample concentrations of 10 ng/μL to 10,000 ng/μL depending on sample volume, providing a linear detection range of 200–10,000 ng.

For each assay, simply dilute the reagent using the buffer provided, add the sample (any volume between 1 μL and 20 μL is acceptable), and read the concentration using a fluorescence-based microplate reader. Common contaminants, such as salts, free nucleotides, solvents, detergents, and protein, are well tolerated.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

Why am I getting negative fluorescence values with my Qubit Assays?

Negative fluorescence is a physical impossibility. It is an artifact from software autocorrecting for background signal. This means your reader is picking up and subtracting out background light at the cost of your data. Make sure to do a buffer-only control and assess the type of signal. You may need to switch to a different plate.

'Osteoporosis has become one of the most serious public health problems. Icariin, miR-153 and Runt-related transcription factor 2 (Runx2) have been demonstrated to regulate cell proliferation and differentiation in multiple cells. The aim of the present experiments was to investigate the potential mechanism underlying osteoblast differentiation and cell proliferation of ... More

Tissue-resident mast cells (MCs) are well known for their role in inflammatory responses and allergic and anaphylactic reactions, but they also contribute to processes of arterial remodeling. Although ribosomes and cytosolic RNAs are located around secretory granules in mature MCs, their functional role in MC responses remains unexplored. Previous studies ... More

Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been increasingly considered to play an important role in the pathological process of various cardiovascular diseases, which often bind to the proximal promoters of the protein-coding gene to regulate the protein expression.
