GeneAmp™ Thermal Isolation Frame

The Applied Biosystems™ GeneAmp™ Thermal Isolation Frame balances thermal uniformity across the 0.5 mL GeneAmp™ PCR System 9700. When used together with the 0.5 mL GeneAmp™ Reaction Tubes, the GeneAmp™ Thermal Isolation Frame creates a proper thermal and physical seal between the heated cover and the reaction tubes.

Maintain Sample Temperature Uniformity

During PCR, it is critical that the thermal cycler lid does not compress your sample tubes and heat the samples capriciously. The GeneAmp™ Thermal Isolation Frame is designed to fit snugly around your samples to ensure reproducible results.

Designed for Convenience

This sturdy reinforced fiberglass frame fits securely around the thermal cycler sample block. When you close the thermal cycler lid, the GeneAmp™ Thermal Isolation Frame also ensures even contact between the lid and the tubes. You can leave the frame on the thermal cycler for continual back-to-back runs.
