Ion Torrent™ Genexus™ Dx FFPE DNA/RNA Purification Kit

The Ion Torrent Genexus Dx FFPE DNA/RNA Purification Kit is used with the Genexus Dx Purification System for automated purification of DNA and RNA from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples using MagMAX magnetic-bead-based technology and quantitation using fluorescence-based quantification reagents.

Features of the Genexus Dx FFPE DNA/RNA Purification Kit include:

• Single, flexible automation protocol that accommodates sample volume inputs of 200–400 μL
• Fast, automated procedure that allows 48 samples to be processed

The Genexus Dx FFPE DNA/RNA Purification Kit comes with all the reagents necessary to take an FFPE sample from extraction to results. The kit includes the following components to provide a complete automated nucleic acid purification and quantification NGS workflow solution:

• Genexus Dx FFPE DNA and RNA purification kit
• Genexus Dx nucleic acid quantitation kit
• Genexus Dx purification supplies 2 kit

FFPE tissue lysates are treated with protease, then loaded into the Genexus Dx Purification System along with the reagents and consumables needed for automated purification and quantification of DNA and RNA. Upon completion of the run, the purified and quantified nucleic acid samples are automatically transferred into a 48-well archive plate for subsequent use with the Genexus Dx Integrated Sequencer for fast, automated next-generation sequencing (NGS) of the samples.

The Genexus Dx FFPE DNA/RNA Purification Kit provides reagents and consumables for 48 DNA and RNA isolations and is for in vitro diagnostic use.

Intended purpose

The Genexus Dx FFPE DNA/RNA Purification Kit provides components for automated nucleic acid isolation, and quantification from FFPE tissue. The kit uses MagMAX magnetic bead-based technology for isolation and purification of genomic DNA and cellular RNA from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue. The isolated DNA and RNA are quantified using the onboard Qubit fluorometer and fluorescence-based quantification reagents are provided in the kit. The Genexus Dx FFPE DNA/RNA Purification Kit is for in vitro diagnostic use.
