Aplicaciones
El (1R)-(+)-alcanfor se usa como un intermedio quiral y auxiliar. También se utiliza como antiprurítico de la piel y como agente antiinfeccioso.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua (0,1 g/l a 20 °C).

Notas
Mantener el recipiente bien sellado. Almacenar en un lugar fresco y seco y en recipientes bien sellados. Incompatible con agentes oxidantes.
