Aplicaciones
El ácido 4-bromocinámico se ha utilizado en la preparación de: (E)-β-bromo-4-bromoestireno; 2-amino-7-(piperidin-4-il)isoquinolina; ácido (4-bromofenil)-4-(5-(dimetilamino)naftaleno-1-sulfonamido)butanoico a partir de un derivado bromado del dansilo.

Solubilidad
Soluble en alcohol, acetato de etilo y DMSO. Insoluble en agua.
