2,4-Tiazolidinediona, 99 %, Thermo Scientific Chemicals

2,4-Thiazolidinedione may be used in the synthesis of sixteen 5-arylidene-2,4-thiazolidinediones, via ultrasound-promoted aldol condensation reaction. It may be used as starting material for the synthesis of drugs with antihyperglycemic activity.

Aplicaciones
La 2,4-tiazolidinediona puede usarse en la síntesis de dieciséis 5-arilideno-2,4-tiazolidinadionas, mediante reacción de condensación aldólica promovida por ultrasonido. Se puede utilizar como material de partida para la síntesis de fármacos con actividad antihiperglucémica.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua (30 mg/ml en 3 °C), metanol, DMSO, etanol y éter etílico.
