Descripción

1-Chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene is used as a reagent for the detection and determination of pyridine compounds. It has been used as alkylating agent to evaluate the depletion of intracellular erythrocyte glutathione (GSH). It is an irreversible inhibitor of human thioredoxin reductase.

Aplicaciones
El 1-cloro-2,4-dinitrobenceno se utiliza como reactivo en la detección y determinación de compuestos piridina. Se ha utilizado como agente alquilante para evaluar el agotamiento de glutatión intracelular de eritrocitos (GSH). Es un inhibidor irreversible de la tiorredoxina reductasa humana.

Solubilidad
Soluble en cloroformo, éter, alcohol caliente y benceno. Insoluble en agua.

Notas
Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuerte y amoníaco. Reacciona con el hidrato de hidracina.
