Aplicaciones
El diciclohexano se utiliza como activador de aniones y agente complejante que solubiliza iones metálicos alcalinos en disolventes no polares. Es una importante materia prima y un intermediario que se utiliza en la síntesis orgánica, productos farmacéuticos, productos agroquímicos, colorantes, etc.

Solubilidad
Soluble en tolueno. Ligeramente soluble (13 g/l, 26 °C) en agua.

Notas
Higroscópico. Almacenénese bajo gas inerte seco. Incompatible con ácidos fuertes y agentes oxidantes fuertes.
