Descripción

3-Thiophenecarboxylic acid has been used in the preparation of novel acetylene monomer, required for the synthesis of poly(2-methylbut-2-enyl thiophene-3-carboxylate) and oxazolines and oxazoles. It is also used as a lading compound for the development of a clinic useful D-amino acid inhibitor and have the potential to sever as active site proves to elucidate the structure-function relationships of D-amino acids.

Aplicaciones
El ácido 3-tiofenocarboxílico se ha utilizado en la preparación de un nuevo monómero de acetileno, necesario para la síntesis de poli(2-metilbut-2-enil tiofeno-3-carboxilato) y oxazolinas y oxazoles. También se utiliza como un compuesto de aterrizaje para el desarrollo de un inhibidor útil de D-amino ácido clínico y tiene el potencial de servir como sitio activo que demuestra esclarecer las relaciones estructura-función de D-amino ácidos.

Soluble en agua a 20 °C, 4,3 g/l.
