Ammonium iron(III) oxalate trihydrate is used in the preparation of Langmuir-Blodgett magnetic thin films. It is also involved in the production of blueprint paper.

Aplicaciones
El oxalato de amonio y hierro(III) trihidrato se utiliza en la preparación de películas finas magnéticas Langmuir-Blodgett. También participa en la producción de papel para cianotipo.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua. Insoluble en etanol.
