Aplicaciones
El triacetoxiborohidruro de sodio se utiliza como reactivo en la aminación reductiva de cetonas y aldehídos, así como en la lactamización de compuestos carbonílicos con aminas. También sirve como agente reductor en síntesis orgánica.

Solubilidad
Soluble en dimetilsulfóxido, metanol, benceno, tolueno, tetrahidrofurano, dioxano y cloruro de metileno.

Notas
Sensible a la humedad. Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes, el agua, alcoholes y ácidos.
