Descripción

trans-1,2-Diaminocyclohexane-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid monohydrate is an analytical reagent and a complexating agent for sodium. It acts as a ligand to prepare lanthanide shift reagents. It is involved in the separation and determination of iron(III)-dimethyldithiocarbamate, manganese(II)-ethylenebisdithiocarbamate and zinc(II)-ethylenebisdithiocarbamate by sensitive capillary electrophoretic ultraviolet method.

Aplicaciones
El monohidrato de ácido trans-1,2-diaminociclohexano-N,N,N′,N′tetraacético es un reactivo analítico y un agente de acomplejamiento para el sodio. Actúa como ligando para preparar reactivos de desplazamiento de lantánidos. Participa en la separación y determinación del hierro(III)-dimetilditiocarbamato, manganeso(II)-etilenobisditiocarbamato y cinc(II)-etilenobisditiocarbamato por un método ultravioleta de electroforesis capilar sensible.

Solubilidad
Ligeramente soluble en agua. Soluble en soluciones de álcalis e hidróxido sódico 1N. Insoluble en la mayoría de los disolventes orgánicos comunes.

Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes.
