Descripción

Useful in the preparation of nitrile ylide dimers.Benzophenone imine as ammonia surrogate. As intermediate material for synthesis of organic chemicals. Catalytic enantioselective alkylation of the benzophenone imine of glycine t-butyl ester using phosphazene (Schwesinger) bases and chiral quaternary ammonium salts yields either enantiomer of amino acid derivatives in excellent yield.

Aplicaciones
La imina de benzofenona es útil para la preparación de dímeros de iluro de nitrilo y sirve de sustituta del amoníaco. También sirve de producto intermedio en la síntesis de sustancias químicas orgánicas. La alquilación enantioselectiva catalítica de la imina de benzofenona del éster t-butílico de glicina que se produce al utilizar bases de fosfatieno (Schwesinger) y sales de amonio cuaternario quiral genera un enantiómero de derivados de aminoácidos con un rendimiento excelente.

Solubilidad
Insoluble en agua.

Notas
Almacenar en un lugar fresco. Mantener el recipiente bien cerrado en un lugar seco y bien ventilado. Almacenar lejos de los agentes oxidantes fuertes.
