Descripción

Guanidine hydrochloride is used for purification of proteins and nucleic acids. It can be used as a medicine, organic synthesis intermediate and is used in dyes. It acts as an intermediate in the preparation of sulfadiazine, which is an important raw material for sulfamethyldiazine, sulfamethazine and folic acid. It is utilized to synthesis of 2-amino-pyrimidine, 2- amino -6- methyl-pyrimidine and 2-amino -4,6 - dimethyl-pyrimidine. Also used in RNA isolation to dissociate nucleoproteins and inhibit RNase.

Aplicaciones
El clorhidrato de guanidina se utiliza para la purificación de proteínas y ácidos nucleicos. Se puede utilizar como medicamento, como síntesis orgánica intermedia y en colorantes. Actúa como intermedio en la preparación de sulfadiazina, que es una materia prima importante para la sulfametildiazina, la sulfametazina y el ácido fólico. Se utiliza para la síntesis de la 2-amino-pirimidina, la 2-amino-6-metil-pirimidina y la 2-amino-4,6-dimetil-pirimidina. También se utiliza en el aislamiento de ARN para disociar las nucleoproteínas e inhibir la ARNasa.

Solubilidad
Fácilmente soluble en agua. Soluble en agua y etanol.

Notas
Higroscópico. Mantenga el recipiente bien cerrado en un lugar seco y bien ventilado. Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes. Puede aglomerarse durante el almacenamiento.
