Histamine inhibits the synthesis of IL-2 and γ-IFN in peripheral blood mononuclear cells and lipopolysaccharide-induced synthesis of TNF-α in monocytes via H2 receptor activation. It is a powerful stimulant of gastric secretion, a constrictor of bronchial smooth muscle, a vasodilator, and also a centrally acting neurotransmitter.

Aplicaciones
La histamina inhibe la síntesis de IL-2 y γ-IFN en las células mononucleares de sangre periférica y la síntesis inducida por lipopolisacáridos de TNF-α en monocitos mediante activación del receptor de H2. Es un poderoso estimulante de la secreción gástrica, un constrictor de la musculatura blanda bronquial, un vasodilatador y también un neurotransmisor de acción central.

Solubilidad
Soluble en agua, alcohol y cloroformo caliente.

Notas
Almacenar en un lugar fresco. Mantener el recipiente bien cerrado en un lugar seco y bien ventilado. Temperatura de almacenamiento recomendada: -20 °C. Higroscópico. Manipular y almacenar en gas inerte. Sensible al aire.
