Descripción

1-Boc-piperazine is useful for the preparation of (m-phenoxy)phenyl substituted piperazine derivatives. It is also used in the synthesis of indazole DNA gyrase inhibitors. Further, it plays an important role in the preparation of alfa,beta-poly(2-oxazoline) lipopolymers through living cationic ring opening polymerization. It is also in involved in Buchwald-Hartwig coupling reactions with aryl halides.

Aplicaciones
La 1-boc-piperazina es útil para la preparación de derivados de piperazina sustituidos con (m-fenoxi)fenilo. También se utiliza en la síntesis de inhibidores de la girasa de ADN de indazol. Además, desempeña un papel importante en la preparación de lipopolímeros alfa,beta-poli(2-oxazolina) a través de la polimerización viva por apertura de anillo catiónico. También participa en reacciones de acoplamiento de Buchwald-Hartwig con haluros de arilo.

Solubilidad
Soluble en acetato de etilo, metanol y agua.

Notas
Higroscópica. Almacenar en lugar fresco. Sensible a la humedad. Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes.
