Description

Molybdenum(VI) oxide is a very promising and stable oxide for electrochromic applications and used as a catalyst in oil industr. It is also used to make metal molybdenum. It has a wide band gap type semiconductor with distinctive electrochromic, thermochromic, and photochromic properties, has been widely investigated as smart materials for catalysis sensors, lubricants, lithium battery, organic solar cells, and display materials.
