When you need to quickly separate perchlorate in drinking water prior to detection with MS/MS, the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex IonPac AS21 hydroxide-selective anion-exchange column is column of choice. This column is specifically listed in U.S. EPA Method 331.0. The column's capacity and selectivity enable fast analysis of perchlorate at low μg/L concentrations. In addition, the 2x250 mm column format was designed and optimized for LC-MS or LC-MS/MS compatibility to facilitate use of volatile mobile phases such as methylamine.
Superior Chromatographic Performance
  • Fast separation of perchlorate prior to MS/MS detection
  • Ideal for the separation of a variety of environmental anions including arsenate, tungstate, chromate, and iodide
  • Optimized for methylamine or hydroxide mobile phases
  • Optimum capacity: 45μeq per column (2x250 mm format)
  • Operates at ambient or elevated temperatures; column selectivity is optimized for 30°C operating temperature to ensure reproducible retention times
  • Compatible with organic solvents
