Applications
Has been used as a protected form of aniline for the preparation of monoalkylanilines by alkylation and hydrolysis and as an intermediate for the preparation of isocyanates and isothiocyanates.

Solubility
Insoluble in water. Soluble in chloroform 25 mg/mL.

Notes
Moisture sensitive. Store away from water/moisture and oxidizing agents. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition. Store under inert gas.
