Effectively isolate fastidious organisms such as staphylococci and streptococci with clearly visible hemolytic reactions while detecting Gram-negative and Gram-positive pathogens using Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Columbia CAP Agar/CLED Medium Biplate.

The biplate format with a selective and a non-selective medium helps laboratories get a better diagnostic picture and allows them to isolate pathogens directly without any subculture for further confirmation steps.

Produce more diagnostic details of pathogenic organisms while reducing storage capacity issue in the incubator with a bi-plate that includes a combination of a selective and non-selective organism.

  • Provides easy colony differentiation as Escherichia coli appear as yellow opaque colonies, Proteus form translucent blue colonies, Salmonella appears as flat green colonies while Staphylococcus form deep yellow colonies on CLED Medium.
  • Prevents swarming of Proteus species through the electrolyte deficient nature of CLED Medium.
  • The biplate format with a selective and a non-selective medium helps laboratories get a better diagnostic picture and allows them to isolate pathogens directly without any subculture for further confirmation steps.
  • Ready-to-use convenience of prepared media.
  • Space-saving biplate format.
