Columbia Agar with Sheep Blood PLUS/MacConkey Agar without Salt Biplate

Isolate and cultivate fastidious microorganisms with clearly visible hemolytic reactions (staphylococci and streptococci), while simultaneously detecting and Gram-negative pathogens from urine samples using Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Columbia Agar with Sheep Blood PLUS/MacConkey Agar without Salt Biplate.

The biplate format combines a selective and a general purpose medium on one plate reducing the need for further confirmation steps by allowing the laboratories to isolate pathogens directly without any subculture.
