HyPerforma™ Smartainer™ 3.0 Storage System, non-jacketed

The Thermo Scientific HyPerforma Smartainer 3.0 Storage System provides end users producing biologics or vaccine therapeutics with a large-volume, sterile liquid storage system for volumes ranging from 200 L to 3000 L. The Smartainer 3.0 is an update to our current Smartainer 2.0 system, and is available in either non-jacketed or jacketed options. The Smartainer 3.0 system is designed for the collection and storage of sterile process liquids such as cell culture media, process water, or purification media—wherever large volumes of sterile process liquids need to be safely, securely stored.

The Smartainer 3.0 system includes these features:
• 304-grade stainless steel construction
• Smooth surfaces to help simplify clean-in-place processes
• Vaporized hydrogen peroxide-compatible
• Cart with heavy-duty, non-marking casters to transfer sterile process liquids between storage and production areas
• Integrated guides for forklift or pallet jacks to help ensure safe conveyance within your production area
• Load cells that integrate with enterprise control systems for accurate fill-volume status
• Document holder for the storage of documents during production operations
• Port retention plate to securely and correctly position BioProcess Container (BPC) tubing sets
• Storage tray to store pumps, tubing, or other accessories
• Integrated handle for safe movement of the Smartainer 3.0 system
• Top and bottom port access
• Standard or custom BPCs constructed with Aegis 5-14 and CX5-14 films, optimized for Smartainer 3.0 systems

The Smartainer 3.0 system can be customized to optimize performance with the following options:
• Temperature transmitter that integrates with your manufacturing control system
• Floor mount capability to address operator and facility safety concerns
• Manual and lift-assisted top-mounted covers in both jacketed and non-jacketed options
• Access panel cover for storage of light-sensitive process liquids to help ensure process integrity
• Extra tray at bottom of the tanks

BPC system to optimize performance
Choose from a variety of off-the-shelf BPC products or customize a BPC to fit your Smartainer 3.0 system. Customization options include:
• Fittings—straight, reducing, elbow, T-style, X-style, and cross-style
• Connectors—quick connectors/disconnectors, aseptic connectors and disconnectors, steam-to and steam-through connectors
• Filters—used for bioburden reduction; sterilization grade filters and vent filters
• Tubing—thermoplastic elastomers, platinum-cured silicone
• Sample ports—septum-style and needle-free ports
• Clamps—sliders, pinch, and crimp bands
