Rapidly inactivate and stabilize viral RNA at ambient temperature with a non-hazardous formulation using Thermo Scientific™ InhibiSURE™ Viral Inactivation Medium. This liquid medium is intended for the collection, transportation, and inactivation of SARS-CoV-2.

Safety:

Reduce the risk of exposure during specimen collection, transport, and processing with InhibiSURE™ Viral Inactivation Medium. The medium rapidly inactivates viruses and stabilizes viral RNA at ambient temperature using a non-hazardous formula.

The device is intended to be used with unprocessed nasal, nasopharyngeal, and throat swab samples.

Easy to Use:

Maintain the integrity of nucleic acids with InhibiSURE™ Viral Inactivation Medium - a safe, novel, proprietary formula that destroys the viral envelope and disrupts capsid proteins, removing virulence.

Inactivation occurs within 30 minutes at room temperature (10-30°C).

No further processing of the sample is required ahead of RNA extraction and PCR.
