Microplate Carousel

Simplify lab storage with the small footprint, robot-accessible Thermo Scientific™ Microplate Carousel that provides random-access for up to 200 microplates or 104 deep-well microplates. Available in regular and tall configurations, the Carousel consists of a motorized turntable with detachable hotels that store microplates, lids, and tip boxes. Integrated controller enables a host computer to rotate the turntable. When used with a Thermo Scientific Laboratory Automation and Integration robotic arm, the Microplate Carousel provides fully-automated microplate storage.

• Shelved hotels and motorized turntable provide random access to any microplate
• A closed-loop servo motor with an optical encoder ensures accurate positioning of the carousel
• Eight removable hotels allow operators to rapidly load and unload the carousel, providing higher utilization
• Hotels can accommodate standard and deep-well microplates, lidded and unlidded microplates, and pipet tip boxes
• Landscape or portrait microplate orientation provides direct access into instrumentation
• RS232 serial interface allows a PC to precisely control the carousel's rotation
