How do I calibrate my incubator oven for ViewRNA assays?

We recommend using the ViewRNA Temperature Validation Kit (Cat. No. QV0523) for verification and calibration of the incubator oven to a stable temperature. It may also be used to evaluate the temperature of ThermoBrite systems. The ViewRNA Temperature Validation Kit comes with a slide connected to a thermal probe attached to a calibrated digital thermometer that assesses the temperature inside the oven in a continuous manner. For ViewRNA assays, the incubator oven should be set at 40 ± 1 degrees C.
