Lovibond MD 100 Photometer uses high quality interference filters with long-life LEDs as a light source without any moving parts in a transparent sample chamber. Other features include ease of operation, ergonomic design, compact dimensions and safe handling.

The calibration and software-based adjustment options mean that the MD 100 is also suitable for use as a testing instrument. The tests are conducted using either Lovibond tablet reagents with long term stability and a guaranteed minimum five or 10 year shelf life, VARIO powder reagents or using liquid reagents.

Reagents Tablets
Each tablet is hermetically sealed within an individual aluminum foil pocket, protecting against challenging environmental conditions. This packaging keeps each tablet in perfect condition, right up until the time it is needed by the user.

What vacuum device can I use with Nunc 96 Deep Well Filter Plates?

Any vacuum manifold (for 96-well microplates) with an inside depth of 4 cm or more should be fine.

Are the Nunc 96 Deep Well Filter Plates chemically resistant?

Yes. The polypropylene plate material naturally resists chemicals and organic solvents, as does the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) frit and glass fiber filter. For very strong chemicals, prolonged exposure times, and/or higher temperatures, we recommend that you test the plates with the chemical or solution in question.

Do I have to exactly follow the recommended protocol with Nunc 96 Deep Well Filter Plates?

The protocol is designed to be flexible, depending on customer needs and instrumentation. For example, certain steps can be performed with vacuum filtration, centrifugation, or positive pressure, with similar results. We do recommend that customers use our formulas for buffers and solutions, since they were optimized to produce superior results.
