Formic Acid is specially purified and tested to the highest specifications to ensure the integrity of your data, maximize sensitivity in your assay and to prolong the life of your equipment.

Formic acid is a common component of reverse-phase mobile phases that provide protons for LC/MS analysis. The presence of a low concentration of formic acid in the mobile phase is also known to improve the peak shapes of the resulting separation. Unlike trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), formic acid is not an ion-pairing agent and it does not suppress MS ionization of polypeptides when used as a mobile-phase component.

Abstract
Improved therapeutic efficacy in two mouse models of methylmalonic acidemia (MMA) using a second-generation mRNA therapy.

Isolated methylmalonic acidemia/aciduria (MMA) due to MMUT enzyme deficiency is an ultra-rare pediatric disease with high morbidity and mortality, with no approved disease-altering therapies. Previous publications showed that systemic treatment with a codon-optimized mRNA encoding wild-type human MMUT (MMUT) is a promising strategy for treatment of MMA. We developed a ... More
Protocol for identifying metabolite biomarkers in patient uterine fluid for early ovarian cancer detection.

High mortality of ovarian cancer (OC) is primarily attributed to the lack of effective early detection methods. Uterine fluid, pooling molecules from neighboring ovaries, presents an organ-specific advantage over conventional blood samples. Here, we present a protocol for identifying metabolite biomarkers in uterine fluid for early OC detection. We describe ... More
