CaptureSelect™ Alexa Fluor™ 647 Anti-AAV9 Conjugate

CaptureSelect Alexa Fluor 647 Anti-AAV9 Conjugate contains a 13-kDa recombinant single-domain antibody fragment (VHH affinity ligand) that specifically binds with high affinity to adeno-associated virus particles type 9 (AAV9). This anti-AAV9 affinity ligand is chemically conjugated to Alexa Fluor 647 (AF647) via an appropriate spacer that fully retains the binding reactivity of the ligand, enabling detection of AAV9 total capsids.

Conjugation of the CaptureSelect AAV9 affinity ligand with the AF647 dye combines the high binding affinity of the ligand with the unique characteristics of AF647 dye, which is a bright, far-red–fluorescent dye with excitation for the 594- or 633-nm laser lines. This combination makes this product ideally suited for stable signal generation in fluorescent immuno-assay (FIA) applications and imaging.

This conjugate and our other anti-AAV9 conjugates, including CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-AAV9 and CaptureSelect HRP Anti-AAV9 (Cat. No. 7103332100 and 7303332100), bind with high affinity to AAV capsids of the AAV9 serotype. For the detection of other AAV serotype capsids we recommend CaptureSelect Biotin Anti-AAVX, CaptureSelect HRP Anti-AAVX, and CaptureSelect AF647 Anti-AAVX conjugates (Cat. No. 7103522100, 71033522500, 7303522100, 7233522100).
