CaptureSelect™ C1-InhXL Ligand Leakage ELISA

CaptureSelect C1-InhXL Ligand Leakage ELISA is designed to detect possible leached ligand of C1-esterase inhibitor (C1Inh) purified using POROS CaptureSelect C1-InhXL Affinity Resin. The C1-InhXL affinity ligand is a 12–15 kD recombinant single-domain antibody fragment (VHH affinity ligand) expressed in yeast and covalently coupled to a chromatography matrix for high chemical stability and low leakage. During the chromatography process small amounts of the ligand can leach from the chromatography support and co-elute with the target protein.

This ELISA provides typical sensitivity and accurate quantitation of possible leached ligand greater than or equal to 1 ng/mL. The CaptureSelect C1-InhXL Ligand Leakage ELISA can be used as a tool to aid in optimal purification process development and in routine quality control of in-process streams as well as final product.
