GeneArt™ Linear pUC19L Vector for Seamless Cloning

The GeneArt™ Linear pUC19L Vector is a ready-to-use, linear version of the popular cloning vector pUC19. The pUC19L plasmid (2.7 Kbp), is specifically designed as a cloning and DNA assembly vector for the GeneArt™ Seamless Cloning and Assembly Kit (Cat. No. A13288). The vector is manufactured by digesting supercoiled pUC19 plasmid with the restriction enzymes PstI and KpnI, and tested for cloning of up to 4 DNA fragments.

Some of the key features and elements of the pUC19L vector include:

• lacZα gene allows easy blue/white colony screening for selection of recombinants
• pUC origin of replication (high copy vector)
• Ampicillin resistance for selection in E. coli
• 6 convenient and validated restriction sites flanking the cloning region
• Tested for functionality by assembly with 4 DNA fragments using the GeneArt™ Seamless Cloning and Assembly Kit
