TrueMark™ Respiratory Panel 2.0, TaqMan™ Array card

The TrueMark Respiratory Panel 2.0, TaqMan Array card, is an efficient, easy-to-use TaqMan Array card for the characterization of key respiratory tract microbes. The array card includes 44 TaqMan assays that have been optimized for detection of 41 respiratory tract viral, bacterial, and fungal microbes, including two assays that target SARS-CoV-2.

The array card also includes control assays for TaqMan Universal Extraction Control Organism (B. atrophaeus), TaqMan Universal RNA Spike In/Reverse Transcription (Xeno) Control, the human RNase P RPPH1 gene, and the human 18S ribosomal RNA gene. Features of this syndromic panel-based real-time PCR solution include:

Each TrueMark Respiratory Panel 2.0, TaqMan Array card, contains a select group of TaqMan microbial assays pre-configured in a 384-well micro-fluidic array card (48-assay format). Simply add the pre-amplified product to each port along with our TaqMan Fast Advanced Master Mix, no UNG, and nuclease-free water, centrifuge and seal the card, then load it into the instrument for results.

TaqMan assay designs and assay target sequences have undergone rigorous bioinformatics selection and analysis to maximize strain coverage and minimize potential for off‐target cross-reactivity. Qualified TaqMan assays also undergo performance testing to ensure that results are accurate and reproducible with high levels of analytical sensitivity and specificity.

The TrueMark Respiratory Panel 2.0, TaqMan Array card, is orderable as single cards and is intended for use with the QuantStudio 7 and QuantStudio 12K Flex systems with a TaqMan Array Card block.
