The Residual Protein TrypLE ELISA Kit is a solid-phase sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) for the quantitative detection of TrypLE enzyme. The kit is compatible with all forms of TrypLE enzyme, including TrypLE Select, TrypLE Express, and CTS TrypLE Select enzymes.

TrypLE enzyme is an animal-origin-free recombinant alternative to porcine trypsin. It is used for the dissociation of attachment-dependent cell lines. TrypLE enzyme dissociates cells cultured both in serum-free and serum-supplemented systems. Due to the unique biological sequence of TrypLE enzyme, traditional trypsin ELISA kits are ineffective at binding and detecting residual levels of TrypLE enzyme.
