Orion™ AQUAfast™ AQ3170 Colorimeter

The Thermo Scientific™ Orion™ AQUAfast™ AQ3170 colorimeter has a rugged and waterproof design to provide accurate chlorine measurements whether testing in the laboratory or the field. This colorimeter is designed to improve the user experience by including a large, backlit display, a real time clock and automatic data logging. The AQUAfast AQ3170 colorimeter is used in markets such as drinking water, wastewater, food & beverage, aquaculture, and agriculture.

The Orion AQUAfast AQ3170 chlorine colorimeter is ideal for the dedicated free and total chlorine testing of water and wastewater and is designed to assist with US EPA testing compliance for free and total chlorine measurements of drinking water and wastewater samples. Using an LED light source at 530 nm, this colorimeter measures two free and total chlorine testing ranges of 0.02 to 2.00mg/L chlorine using powder DPD reagents and standard 24mm vials and 0.1 to 8.0mg/L chlorine using powder DPD reagents and new 10mm plastic vials. The AQUAfast AQ3170 chlorine colorimeter is CE certified, IP-67 waterproof and accepts Orion AQUAfast free and total chlorine powder DPD reagents, available as standard 100 individual powder packs and new bulk powder dispensers with refillable vials for 250 dispense counts each. The Orion AQUAfast primary and secondary chlorine standards are also now available as separate accessories for the AQUAfast AQ3170 chlorine colorimeter.
