Lab-Lemco Agar (Dehydrated)

Examine water and dairy products with nutritious Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Lab-Lemco Agar (Dehydrated)^1,2. It is a general-purpose medium for general bacteriological use, and may also be used as the basis for selective, differential, or enriched media. The absence of sodium chloride in the formulation prevents Proteus mirabilis from swarming colonies.

Use Lab-Lamco Agar as a general purpose medium for bacteriological purposes.

It can also be used as nutrient meat extract agar for general bacteriology and for the preservation of stock cultures.
