Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Eosin Methylene Blue Agar(변형, Levine, 건조형)를 사용하여 대장균군 그룹을 검출, 계수 및 감별하십시오. Levine1,2에 의해 변형된 이 다용도 배지는 Escherichia coli와 Enterobacteria aerogenes의 감별 및 Candida albicans에 대한 신속한 식별에 사용됩니다. 이 배지는 대장균군의 검출 및 감별을 위해 APHA3,4,5,6에 의해 지정된 조성으로 준비됩니다7,8.

장내세균(Enterobacterioceae)의 분리 및 감별에 Eosin Methylene Blue Agar(변형, Levine)를 사용해 보십시오.

  • 간편한 판독: Eosin-Y와 메틸렌 블루 지시약으로 인해 Escherichia coli(녹색 금속성 광택이 있는 보라색 콜로니)를 Enterobacteria aerogenes(보라색 점액성 콜로니)와 쉽게 구별할 수 있습니다.
  • 미국 공중보건학회(American Public Health Association)가 대장균군의 검출, 계수 및 감별에 권장합니다.

Weld9,10 은 임상 물질에 있는  Candida albicans 를 신속하게 식별하기 위해 Eosin methylene blue agar (변형, Levine)에 클로르테트라사이클린 하이드로클로라이드(chlortetracycline hydrochloride)를 첨가하여 사용할 것을 제안했습니다. 배설물, 구강 및 질 분비물, 손톱 또는 피부 각질 검체를 10% 이산화탄소에서 37°C로 24 ∼ 48시간 배양한 후  Candida albicans 의 양성 식별이 가능합니다.
