Ties are UL-component recognized, and are self-extinguishing as per UL 94 Flam. Class: V-2 (models 06830-85 and -95 have a UL flame rating of UL94-HB). All solid design cable ties (A, and E meet military specification MS3367 except the extra-heavy duty models (06830-42 and -99). Ties withstand temperatures to 185°F (85°C) and have a melting point of 495°F (257°C); except for barbed design cable ties which withstand temperatures to 167°F (75°C) and have a melting point of 425°F (218°C). All ties remain flexible to –40°F (–40°C). Efficient range of ties may be higher or lower in your specific application.
