Poly-HRP Streptavidin consists of streptavidin protein that is covalently conjugated to a polymerized form of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) enzyme. Streptavidin binds to biotin and the conjugated HRP polymer provides a high level of activity for detection using an appropriate substrate system. This particular Poly-HRP Streptavidin product has been used primarily in sandwich ELISA applications to improve the signal provided by typical (non-Poly) streptavidin-HRP conjugates.

Features of Poly-HRP Streptavidin:

Formulation: Conjugate in PBS containing distilled glycerol, BSA and a preservative.
Application: ELISA: to be used with biotin-labeled detection antibodies. Recommended dilution range is 1:2,000 - 1:20,000. The optimal dilution must be determined empirically for each specific application. Prepare dilutions immediately before use.

자주 묻는 질문(FAQ)

What is the concentration of Poly-HRP Streptavidin (Cat. No. N200) and what is the labelling ratio of HRP:Streptavidin?

The concentration of Poly-HRP Streptavidin is 1 mg/mL. The HRP:Streptavidin ratio is 5:1.

Can Poly-HRP Streptavidin (Cat. No. N200) be stored at -80 degrees C to increase its shelf life?

We do not recommend storing Poly-HRP Streptavidin at -80 degrees C, as the product can freeze solid at temperatures below -25 degrees C even if it has 50% glycerol as a stabilizer, thereby necessitating thawing of the product. With multiple freeze-thaws, the enzyme conjugates are rendered unstable.
