The Chocolate Agar with Vitox is a highly nutritious medium for the cultivation of fastidious organisms while Chocolate G.C. Selective Agar is a specially formulated medium which includes the presence of meat, enzymatic digests and the presence of starch to ensure the toxic metabolites produced by Neisseria are absorbed.
